Tyre pressures

After some research I decided to reduce the pressure in my tyres from the advised 36.5 to 31psi.

Obviously the ride has improved greatly and handling remains fine.

Given the the Kamiq shares the same platform - and has a similar weight to a Golf - I'm still at a loss to understand the higher pressures advised by Skoda

almost certainly reduced rolling resistance - better fuel consumption/ less emissions etc - increased tyre wear and less comfort - Karoq had standard and eco settings for tyres
