Clutch Burn Out

Hi everyone
Kamiq SE L 1.0 TSI 110 PS 6Man
I had the misfortune to have a clutch burn out at 9800 miles. The Skoda Dealer is claiming wear and tear and not a warranty claim. I am wondering if one else as had a problem with the clutch ?

Extremely unlikely to get a clutch burn out accepted as a warranty claim & that applies to all manufacturers. After retirement I worked part time in a main Honda dealer where on 1 occasion they accepted a claim on a 3 month old ‘jazz’ with 1500 mls on the clock. It was accepted as a ‘goodwill gesture’ but told the dealer to sell her an automatic 😂
