Re: Ltb used kamiq

I’ve had my Kamiq (1.0l SEL auto) since 03/2020 & although low mileage it’s been trouble free. I absolutely love the car. Not sure if it’s chain or wet belt (although doubt that). Just remember this engine is from the Volkswagen/Audi family so it’s the same in polo, golf Audi A1 A2 Skoda & se...

Re: Oil change

If that’s from a main dealer then it’s in the ‘ball park’. Labour will be in the region of £160/hr (regions may vary ie London) & e/oil will be around £40 approx plus filter, they’ll charge for washer fluid even if the washer bottle is full. A sump plug plus washer, it quickly mounts up. I’ve re...

Re: Auto Stop Start Not working Some but not all the time

Stop/start is deactivated when a/c on (for obvious reasons). Stop/start is very unpredictable & after 5 yrs of ownership I’ve given up trying to work it out, just live with its unpredictablity

Re: Lane assist

Not possible, it’s a standard feature that contributes to the safety features of the car. The insurance companies calculate the risk of individual cars when determining their charges not to mention the uk motoring organisations that monitor safety factors. This similar to stop start features, if it ...

Hi Standers & welcome to the forum. I also have the 1.0l SEL with DSG & I absolutely love it. Over 4yrs old now & has been trouble free (hope I don’t temp fate!) . Very pleased with fuel consumption helped particularly when it engages neural when on a slight overrun although this does ta...

Re: Cannot get into driver modes

Is it a manual or auto box. If auto you pull the selector lever backwards one clic. To return to normal mode clic forward. You’ll see a small triangle at the bottom of the selection modes

Re: Rattle from dash area

Seems your answer is in Paulio’s thread 02/01/2022. Certainly a good starting point. Let the forum know how you get on.
